My mission is to provide information, strategies, and resources for those whose safety is threatened and who are experiencing the trauma of abuse and who would like to heal and overcome their abuse as well as empower the victim and society to prevent abuse from being passed on through the generations.
Victoria Aleice holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in studio art from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. When Reina approached Victoria about creating an oil painting for a book cover on domestic violence and another one for a book on child sexual abuse, Victoria went to work on Reina’s vision. She created purple clouds (as purple is the official color for domestic violence awareness) depicting the darkness of the trauma of abuse on the bottom that then turn into an ombre lavender, fading into white clouds and sun (SON) rays streaming down at the top that represent the healing from darkness (abuse victim) to light (an Overcomer light of Christ). What they didn’t know when they teamed up to do this work was that it would become a book series on abuse! Both the contents and illustrations of the Overcoming Abuse series have been divinely inspired and orchestrated to bring you—the reader—healing and freedom from abuse. We hope these books will accomplish God’s will for your and your family’s lives: to live always loved and in peace—through the abundant life He came to bring you!
